My First book for M&B Insiders

This is my first book for review.  We have two central characters Lorene, The Countess of Tinmore and Dell Summerfield, The Earl of Penfold.


I really wanted to love this book, but it just wasn't for me, the first six chapters are taken up with the Earl of Tinmore's death and the inquiry into his death and which for me went on far to long and then we had scenes were Dell and Lorene were nearly going to kiss but don't, they finally kiss towards the end of the book. If this was the first romantic that I had read then I would have loved it, but because I have read romantic books for a long time for me it was a bit too tame.
