Carole Mortimer Enticing Ian (Knight Security 5)

This is book 5 in the series which for me is hottest and naughtiest, I won't be going into a lot of detail otherwise they would be just too many spoilers and it would ruin a good book.

Our characters are Ian and Evie, who knew each other 3 years before this story and lets just say Ian broke Evie heart.  Then 3 years later when Ian is working at Utopia as acting head of security, (which as you will know is the casino which is run by Gregori Markovic and his bodyguard Nicolai Volkov from the Alpha series).

Evie has a twin brother called Adam, who shall we say gets into a spot of bother and owes money to a rival mafia gang. (and is not pleased that Evie tries to rescue him and Ian is not to keen on him).

We also have Ethan who is Ian's cousin and helps with the matter.  I love Ethan already and looking forward to his book.

Ian is this man mountain of muscle and a lot of testosterone and as you will find out he has something in common with Evie and Evie likes to say of Ian, You were never handsome, Ian," arrogant and self-assured with an overabundance of testosterone but never handsome. (I that made me smile and I loved Evie even more).

Then we have Evie who is a librarian and she and Adam had a alcoholic father and their mother died when they were both nineteen,  I loved her on the outside you wouldn't think she was strong but she is and was made even stronger when Ian broke Evie's heart, Ian says the reason he did what he did was because Evie was predictable and boring, as you will find Evie is not either of those things.  She is strong and beautiful.

I loved this book, but then anything that Carole writes I've always been a big fan off.  I will give this 5/5 and you buy from Amazon UK.

  2. He is delicious and Evie is fantastic as well. I loved how Carole made Ian a nerd with liking Comics and Superhero films that made me chuckle considering he is a big tough guy. If you are going to read this book Amy then I would suggest you read the Alpha series first because in the Knight Security they are a lot of cross overs.

I'm glad that you liked the review. :-) xx
