Book Review

Her innocence—exposed!
London’s top relationship columnist Abby Hart can’t tell anyone her biggest secret: not only is her perfect fiancĂ© entirely fictional, she is also utterly untouched. Invited to attend a prestigious charity ball with her ‘husband-to-be’, she throws herself upon the mercy of brooding millionaire Luke Shelverton.
After his own engagement ended tragically, Luke is reluctant to take credit for Abby’s diamond ring. To protect her reputation he agrees to a convenient arrangement… Except Abby’s effervescence kindles a fire he’s tempted to indulge! And uncovering her innocence compels Luke to initiate his temporary fiancĂ©e into all the sinful delights of the bridal bed!
Celebrating Melanie Milburne's 75th book with Mills & Boon!

This is Melanie's 75th book, and what a book it was.  It was a absolute joy to read.

We've all told a little white lie, at some point in our lives.  This is what Abby has done, only her lie is a big whooper not only has she invented a Fiance who she has been engaged for two and half years, but also a family she doesn't have.

Its not until a invitation to Top Goss and Gloss's Prestigious Spring Charity Ball, that the lie was going to catch Abby out, until she remembers that her friend Ella has a older brother Luke, so armed with some homemade cookies, Abby goes to his flat and tries to persuade him to be her Fiance.

Now from here I'm not going to reveal what happens.  So you will just have to read the book, to find out if Abby can persuade Luke to pretend to be her Fiance.

I will give this book 5/5 stars, the book is on pre-order and is available to buy from 28th Dec from Amazon and all other retailers.

I received this book from Netgalley for the #MillsandBoonInsiders, in return for a honest review.
