Yes this book was very hot, it literally steamed up my reading glasses. So please if you are not a fan of these types of books, then please don't read it.
And for people that love this type of book, you will not be disappointed. Madeline is the most wonderful widow, she is warm, witty and very sensual and she also a bluestocking, she is also a member of SSFS, were they talk everything erotic.
In some family's you have a relative that isn't very nice. Well in Madeline's case she has her own family and her late husband's family to contend with, her family want her to remarry just so she can keep them in the luxury they think they deserve, and her late husbands family have never liked Madeline.
But that all changes when Ethan Dare, arrives to take over his inheritance, not only is it nearly ruined, but from the moment he meets Madeline, there is a very strong sexual connection. And when Ethan tells Madeline that he's not experienced, well lets just say, the book becomes very very hot.
I read this book in one sitting and I wasn't disappointed and I cannot wait for the next book.
