Book Review Unlaced by the Highland Duke by Lara Temple (Mills and Boon Historical) (The Lochmore Legacy Book 2)

The series continues, this time with Lara Temple.

A plain Regency governess
In bed with the Duke!
Part of The Lochmore Legacy: a Scottish castle through the ages! Unceremoniously packed off to Scotland to care for the Duke of Lochmore’s young son, practical widow Joane Langdale fears she will be ignored—as always. But the deep connection and heated passion that develops between her and Benneit is far more dangerous! When Benneit is expected to propose to another, how can Jo dream of becoming his duchess?

Firstly I will not apologise for the gushing that I am about to write. So without further ado let the gushing commence.

Omg, omg, omg, what a wonderful, wonderful brilliant book Lara Temple you have seriously outdone yourself, I absolutely adored Benneit, Jo and Jamie who is a seriously cute little boy, then we have Jamie's dog Flops (Ms Temple will you stop adding cute dogs into your books 😂). Told you it was going to be gushy.

For me what made this book even more amazing was how Ms Temple described the scenery, oh my word it was gorgeous, obviously the image was in head...but it was just like looking at a photograph. Even Jo was blown away at how glorious the scenery was and when she first saw Lochmore, when she got out of the carriage.

It would be remiss of me not to mention the relationship with Jo and Benneit. I loved the banter between them, a lot of the time it was so funny...but sometimes Benneit could be a little harsh, but I still forgave him, because he was trying to understand his feelings for Jo. Also I cannot leave out the gorgeous Jamie who at 4 yrs old is a typical boy, who loves adventures and of course Jo helps with those adventures. The relationship Jo has with Jamie is so beautiful and it also helped Benneit understand his feelings for Jo.

Overall this is a well written book and as I said Ms Temple has outdone herself, a truly amazing and beautiful book, and the ending was out of this world.

For this reason I give 5/5 stars, this book deserves more. The book is on pre-order at Amazon UK and is released on 17th April.

The next book in the series is: A Runaway Bride For The Highlander by Elisabeth Hobbes (Mills and Boon Historical) ( The Lochmore Legacy Book 3)

This book is on pre-order at Amazon UK and is released on 30th May.
